1. Introduction

Welcome to our Policy Management Application ("Service"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and services.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

Our Service allows users to upload, store, manage, and interact with policy documents using artificial intelligence tools to extract information, answer questions, and provide insights about those policies.

2. Definitions

• "Service" refers to the Policy Management Application.
• "User" refers to the individual accessing or using the Service.
• "Policies" refers to any documents, files, or content uploaded by Users to the Service.
• "AI Features" refers to the artificial intelligence capabilities provided by the Service that allow Users to interact with their Policies.
• "Account" refers to a unique account created for a User to access our Service.
• "Company" (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to the provider of the Service.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.

You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for all Policies uploaded to the Service and for any actions taken using your account.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary permissions to use and authorize the use of your Policies as described herein. You may not upload, store, or share any Policies that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

You understand that the Company does not pre-screen Policies, but that the Company and its designees have the right (but not the obligation) in their sole discretion to refuse, remove, or delete any Policies.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Policies uploaded by Users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of the Company and its licensors.

Our Service allows you to upload, store, and process your Policies. You retain all of your ownership rights in your Policies. By uploading Policies to the Service, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process your Policies solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You understand and agree that the AI Features may analyze your Policies to provide insights, answers, and other functionality. The results generated by the AI Features based on your Policies are provided for your use in connection with the Service.

6. Privacy and Data

Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference, explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you.

You understand that by using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as set forth in our Privacy Policy.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information and Policies. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. AI Usage and Limitations

The Service provides AI Features that allow you to interact with your Policies. These features use artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to analyze your Policies and generate responses to your queries.

You understand and acknowledge that the AI Features:

• May not always provide accurate, complete, or up-to-date information
• Are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as legal, financial, or professional advice
• May have limitations in understanding context, nuance, or specific terminology in your Policies
• May occasionally generate incorrect, misleading, or irrelevant responses

You agree to review and verify any information provided by the AI Features before making decisions or taking actions based on such information. The Company is not responsible for any actions you take based on the output of the AI Features.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Service:

• In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation
• To upload, store, or share any Policies that contain sensitive personal information, unless you have the legal right to do so and have implemented appropriate safeguards
• To attempt to circumvent any AI Features limitations or restrictions
• To engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service (or the servers and networks connected to the Service)
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other systems or networks connected to the Service
• To use the Service for any purpose that is fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful
• To use the Service to develop competing products or services

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or contact us to request account deletion.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

THE SERVICE AND ITS CONTENT, INCLUDING THE AI FEATURES, ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY ERRORS IN THE SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED.

THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT OR MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING THE USE OR THE RESULTS OF THE USE OF THE AI FEATURES IN TERMS OF THEIR CORRECTNESS, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for changes. If you do not agree to the revised terms, please stop using the Service.
